Torrot, the leading Spanish electric motorcycle and moped company, is once again present at the world meeting of the two-wheel sector at the Milan Show. On Wednesday it presented the main new features of its models for next year on its stand at EICMA.
A year after its official presentation on the same stage, the VELOCÍPEDO is back in Milan with two versions of the revolutionary three-wheeled vehicle from Torrot, a two-seater and another Cargo.
In this edition of the show, another of the great novelties is the update of the highest selling electric scooter in Spain, the MUVI, which rejuvenates its image with two new proposals: the City and the Executive. So, in Milan a more classically styled MUVI is being presented, with soft, dark colours, and another, much more groundbreaking and colourful. In addition, the MUVI 2019 also incorporates notable improvements in terms of performance, making it the most advanced electric scooter on the market, thanks to innovations that enhance its chassis and suspension. It is also implemented internally to improve its performance, offering greater power and top speed, substantially improving its response in urban environments.
As for the KIDS range, which helps make Torrot / GasGas unique, it is completely renewed with the launch of the new KIDS ONE and KIDS TWO trial, enduro and supermotard bikes. All of them come with removable electric batteries and update their image to establish themselves as the best proposal for initiation to off-road for the very youngest riders, thanks to its parental control device. The new KIDS generation offers, at a technical level, an aluminium hydraulic front fork, Mitas tires and a Torrot Electric programmable motor and controller, as well as throttle grips with charge and consumption indicators, among other new features.
In addition, and after the success of the CITYSURFER, the urban, folding bike by Torrot, the new DAKOTA is also being presented in Milan, an electric pedal-assist bicycle, with an aluminium frame and a sporty, cosmopolitan design. With a lightweight aluminium frame, it has a geometry designed to take full advantage of the benefits of a bike designed for the enjoyment daily urban travel. Among its technical specifications are its nine speedShimano Alivio gears and Shimano hydraulic brakes with 180 mm discs, which taken together, are a guarantee of safety, smoothness and reliability in any situation. As for the motor, it is the 250 W Torrot Brushless, which guarantees the power to overcome any slope. The display installed on the handlebars allows the user to select the amount of pedal assistance desired. With normal use, the range of the Dakota motor is approximately 50 kilometres and the recharging of its batteries can be done at any household outlet in less than 6 hours.
